Day 6: Favorite Professor- Professor Lupin

To most, this choice may be obvious, but to me it took 20 minutes of sitting looking at pics of every professor. I finally came up with this reason why he’s my favorite: funnest lesson plans, duh! Almost every other teacher has the students reading out of the text books at least once a week. O crap, now I want to choose Hagrid… no I wont choose Hagrid because he’s not orginized. Anyways, back to Lupin. He teaches the students most, too! Instead of tell ing kids to go read, he says “Okay kids. First lesson of teh year, go fight a boggart” <3 Pretty friggin awesome. He also cared most about the students (besides Dummbledore and McGonagall). He’s just the best choice, and to some, most obvious :-)

On February 28, 1787, Thomas Jefferson, American minister to France, set out from Paris in his own carriage, traveling as a private citizen, “determined to be the master of my own secret”. The reason for his journey south to Aix-en-Provence was a painful right wrist, dislocated the previous fall; he wanted to see if the city’s renowned mineral waters might help him heal. But he was also a dedicated traveler. “I am constantly roving about,” he wrote Lafayette, “to see what I have never seen before and shall never see again.”

Just posting this as I sit in the place where Lafayette was born, planning to follow Jefferson’s path in the south of France, nbd.

But seriously, if you haven’t figured it out yet, Jefferson in France is my favorite.
